Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado’s largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a full-time experienced surgery Scheduler in Colorado Springs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Schedule office visits and coordinate surgery scheduling with the hospital(s).
-Support the physician's administrative needs.
-Obtain pre-authorizations specific to procedures.
-Schedule post-operative follow up appointments.
-Research and respond to routine, non-routine, and complex situation in a timely and professional manner.
-Demonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect the patient and clinic/corporation.
-Follow policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of the front office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum five years office experience, preferably in a medical
office setting. Superior customer service skills are required for this position.
