Medical Technologist/MLT

Job Description
Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PRN Medical Technologist or MLT to cover at different sites throughout the Denver metro area as needed.
The successful candidate will:
Perform specimen analysis of Hematology and Coagulation.
Perform analysis of blood samples in an efficient, accurate manner.
Prepare smears and prepare differentials on peripheral blood smear.
Record results on worksheets and computer system.
Process specimens for send-out testing.
Maintain adequate supplies and reagents.
Perform phlebotomy and sample collection procedures as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or appropriate biological/chemical/medical science or MLT AA degree.
Successful completion of a structured clinical program internship and state licensure. AMT or equivalent required.
ASCP preferred.
All candidates are required to pass a drug screening and background check prior to hire.
