Medical Technologist/MLT

Job Description
Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Technologist or MLT to work part-time at our Midtown office but also have the availability to cover at other sites throughout the network as needed.
This is a part-time (24 hours/week) position that offers a full benefit package.
The successful candidate will:
Perform specimen analysis of Hematology and Coagulation.
Perform analysis of blood samples in an efficient, accurate manner.
Prepare smears and prepare differentials on peripheral blood smear.
Record results on worksheets and computer system.
Process specimens for send-out testing.
Maintain adequate supplies and reagents.
Perform phlebotomy and sample collection procedures as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or appropriate biological/chemical/medical science. Would consider a MLT with at least five years of experience.
Successful completion of a structured clinical program internship and state licensure. AMT or equivalent required.
ASCP preferred.
