Job Description
Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced AR Specialist to join our growing team in Greenwood Village, CO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work ETM work files to set patient accounts up on a monthly payment plan.
  • Communication with patients regarding payments on account.
  • Works closely with the PFC at the site for patient care.
  • Daily submissions for any available grant/foundation/co-pay card assistance for the patient.
  • Account follow up to include the following:
    • Bankruptcy account
    • Deceased patient accounts
    • Estate account
    • Probate accounts
    • Collection accounts
    • Other duties as assigned
 
 
  • Adheres to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPPA laws and guidelines with regard to patient records
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum two (2) years combined medical billing and payment experience required
  • Demonstrate knowledge of state, federal, and third party claims processing required
  • Demonstrate knowledge of state & federal collections guidelines
