Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Telephone Operator in Lone Tree. This position will answer all incoming calls and be responsible for attaching medical records into the EHR.
The successful candidate will:
Courteously and efficiently answer all incoming calls and connect callers with the appropriate extension
Take and relay messages in an accurate and timely manner
Respond to emergency and urgent calls from patients in a timely manner
Direct callers immediately to clinical staff as necessary
Perform operator functions including triaging calls; connecting and transferring calls
Provide a pleasant and helpful first point of contact for patients
Attach document(s) into specific patient file (name and unique identifier) in the proper location of the EMR (electronic medical record)
Process requests for medical records
Demonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect patient and clinic
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum three years experience in a medical office
Experience with electronic medical records strongly preferred
Superior customer service skills
