Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced oncology nurse in Denver.
This position will support a world renowned neuroendocrine surgeon at our Midtown office.
The successful candidate will:
Coordinate patient care
Assist with minor office procedures
Answer and return phone calls (triage)
Assist in patient education
Call in prescriptions and manage refill requests
Call patients with lab results and scan as needed
Assist with symptom management and drug assistance
Assist with home care and other outside services
Complete disability and FMLA paperwork
Act as a liaison between physician and outside resources.
Requirements: Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. Minimum five years nursing experience required, OCN preferred. Surgery experience preferred.
