About the team

FIS is searching for talented software engineers for a variety of roles within our Merchant Solutions Technology Development division. You can look forward to an exciting and dynamic career working on a variety of technologies and expect to master multiple programming languages and technology platforms. What you will be doing

• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.)

• Interacts with product managers and/or owners to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

• Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.

• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.

• Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.

• Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

• May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.

• Other related duties assigned as needed.

Essential -

• Minimum of 10 years of experience required for Java, Spring, Hibernet.

• Experience in software development methodologies and best practices.

• Experience building applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate.

• Experience with Spring boot and microservices technologies

• Experience building web services in SOAP and/or REST with technologies.

• Experience in Rest API Integration.

• Experience consuming web service end points (e.g. REST, SOAP), strong REST Webservices development, Jenkins, SQL/PLSQL, DB2 preferred.

• Experience in developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems.

• Knowledge in Cloud/AWS/Azure will be added advantage.
