Job Description
Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Assistant with lab experience for our Thornton location.
This is a part-time position (24 hours/week) that offers a full benefit package.
This position requires an experienced Medical Assistant and previous lab experience is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will:
- Performs phlebotomy and sample collection procedures
- Provide point of care INR testing
- Records results on worksheets and computer system.
- Process specimens for send-out testing.
- Responsible for laboratory inventory and ordering supplies
- Participate in quality improvement program
- Opportunity for growth in laboratory services
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants is required
- At least three/five years of previous experience as a Medical Assistant, lab experience strongly preferred
- Should also be an effective communicator, with strong multi-tasking skills and have the ability to work independently
- Strong phlebotomy experience required
