About the role:

FIS is looking for an Implementation-Conversion Analyst. As an Implementation-Conversation Analyst, you will work with an exciting and collaborative team. We are passionate about our work and take a client-first approach to everything we do. There are great opportunities for learning within this group

In this role, you will be responsible for making sure all IBS Deposit system transactions are appropriately mapped to general ledger (GL) by examining data files, processes, forms, reports and operational needs of customers. Validates and balances all IBS Deposit data and transactions being mapped to general ledger. Determines customer specific processing parameters and completes FIS IBS application interface set up for client use. Trains clients on the deposit balancing procedures and provides support during conversion. Prefer someone in the metro Milwaukee, WI area but also open to anywhere in the US.

What you will be doing:

  • Working closely with the software team, you will create data maps and transaction workflow documents showing exactly how system transactions will be mapped to general ledger.

  • As part of the conversion process, tests customized software against customer specific needs, shares with customer reports and application specific data that reflects how conversion data will be processed.

  • You will review conversion results (reports, balancing, data load, software changes) with client to refine and confirm requirements.

  • Work closely with the formal customer to gain acceptance of results.

  • You may develop new procedures with clients to ensure FIS software is used appropriately.

What you will need:

  • Strong banking or banking operations background with General Ledger and/or reconcilement experience required.

  • Deposit processing and operation experience.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools

  • Human relations, negotiation and documentation skills with high attention to detail

  • Positions involving data mapping require strong analytical and technical skills

  • Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally as well as externally

  • Ability to travel between 25-30% with occasional weekend hours is required

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or the equivalent or an equivalent of education, training, or work experience.
