Job Description

• MBP L3 DevOps Support engineer role will work to close the gap between actions needed to quickly change an application, and the tasks that maintain its reliability.
• Work with other MBP L3 Support resources to triage and deliver implementation challenges and production fixes.
• MBP L3 DevOps will work with operations, support and development teams to unify processes, automation and delivery.

• Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns.
• Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands.
• Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed.

• Help shape and build our next gen pipeline deployment infrastructure.
• Manage deployments to environments in coordination with release management - with focus on automating promotion.
• Integrate vulnerability management
• Architect and develop automated monitoring, alerts, and integration solutions
• Engage with Development teams to optimize a commit-based build pipeline, debugging as needed.

• Understanding of DevOps best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like Azure and Google Cloud platform.
• Experience with container-based platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift , etc...
• Experience and knowledge with a monitoring tool such as Splunk, Dynatrace,etc.
• Experience with Jenkins Pipelines
• Experience with Java
• Experience with Shell Scripting
• Experience with Spring Boot and Jboss applications
