First Transit is seeking a Scheduling Supervisor for our Denver, CO location! The individual in this position is responsible for the daily operations of the Scheduling and Verification Departments at the Access-A-ride call center. Responsibilities
  • Manage, evaluate, train, hire, and discipline staff for the scheduling department
  • Schedule and manage staff to meet performance objectives and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and incentives
  • Learn scheduling and verification procedures to develop expertise in both processes in order to coach and direct staff
  • Research and respond to customer complaints and commendations as required under contract maintaining a minimal level of complaints; includes the ability to communicate with customers to resolve or address issues as needed
  • Track and manage employee attendance including benefit time use
  • Represent the department to the RTD, customer, and contractors as needed; participate in the management team as a contributing member
  • Review, analyze operational procedures and manage for process productivity and accuracy

Qualifications
  • Experience or familiarity with paratransit services and basic requirements
  • Experience with software used for paratransit operations or similar experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on deliverables
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; college experience preferred
