The Deputy District Attorney - Domestic Violence Felony Prosecutor performs professional legal work in the prosecution of domestic violence felony and misdemeanor criminal cases in the 17th Judicial District, acting on behalf of the District Attorney and representing the People of the State of Colorado. Attorneys in this category have consistently demonstrated the experience and competence necessary to prosecute complex felony cases. Attorneys have also demonstrated leadership ability and consistency in developing working relationships with law enforcement, the judiciary, the defense bar, victim groups, and the community.

NOTE: This is a project-designated, grant funded position with an end date of 09/30/2024. This position is expected to work 40 hours/week. Positions funded by external grants are subject to the availability of grant funds and may be subject to termination at the end of this grant period. Positions funded by external grants will be reviewed by the District Attorney's Office for viability in the absence of grant funds. This position does not qualify for retirement benefits.
