CLA is currently seeking an Tax Manager/Director to join our growing Tax practice!!

How you'll create opportunities in this Tax Manage/Director role:

  • Manage and develop relationships with great clients.
  • Assist clients with meeting their tax and financial planning objectives by using a range of tools (including wealth transfer and estate planning).
  • Research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients.
  • Review and sign a variety of tax returns and serve as a subject matter expert when appropriate.
  • Be creative with staff development, mentoring, and overseeing client engagement teams.

What you will need:

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • You have an active CPA certification.
  • For the Tax Director position, a JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.
  • For the Tax Manager position, a JD may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.

Compensation Strategy: Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above the posted range.

  • For California, the posted range for this role is $103,000 - $185,000.
  • For Colorado, the posted range for this role is $105,000 - $161,000.
