Purpose:
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly & Service Technician with a background in these areas to join our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Performs electronic and mechanical production of assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Uses schematics to fabricate wiring harnesses that include soldering and crimp joints.
  • Performs testing and pack-out of sub-assemblies and full systems.
  • Independently conducts preventative and corrective maintenance activities at a customer's site.
  • Participates in installation of systems at customer's site.
  • Generation of operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintenance of workstation, equipment, tools and materials.
  • Actively collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous improvement of processes and products.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
  • 1-3 years of applicable experience in a STEM field. Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Detailed-orientated work and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Accuracy, punctuality, good team and interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work from electrical schematics, mechanical assembly prints, and work instructions.
  • General ability and knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Works under direct supervision using visual aids, hand tools, wiring lists, BOMs, drawings, and/or verbal or written instructions to assemble, modify, or rework units.
  • Quality focused - workmanship is a must.
  • Good knowledge of common MS Office applications. Experience in working with integrated ERP/MRP systems a plus.
  • Willingness to travel required - up to 30%.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted.
The pay range for this role in Boulder, CO is between $21.90 and $28.77. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Benefits offered for this role include medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.
