What does a Service Technician do at Swire Coca Cola?
Visit customers in assigned geography to diagnose and repair moderate to highly complex Coca-Cola beverage equipment provided to customers for resale of Coca-Cola products. Equipment includes fountain beverage dispensers, coolers, and ancillary equipment. Visits (service orders) are generally scheduled through assigned dispatcher but can be technician generated proactively. Works under limited supervision

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose multiple types of complex fountain machine equipment ( e.g. B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage, Juice Machine) to determine work, parts, and materials needed and make required repairs
  • Travel to and from customer locations in assigned area
  • Effective and appropriate interaction with customers, management, and associates
  • Upon completion of service call, clean and sanitize equipment, clean work area
  • By use of handheld device; document travel, labor, and materials (parts and supplies) use for each activity
  • Correctly check in and out equipment and materials (parts and supplies)
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory ($30-$35K est. value). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • Ability to complete B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage, Juice Machine, and Fundamental Skills certifications within 1 year from hire required
  • CFC Refrigeration Certification preferred
  • 2+ years experience in diagnosis & repair of consumer or commercial appliances required
  • 1+ years beverage service technician (EFC, Fountain install, bottle/can reactive) experience preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SAP CONA, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF reader on an iPhone and/or iPad type device
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Possible CDL requirement in some locations/positions
  • Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Base pay range is $ to $ plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
