Job Summary: |
The CU Department of Dermatology's Clinical Research Unit seeks a senior study specialist (Clinical Research Specialist) to administratively lead multiple clinical trials (devoted to improving the understanding and treatment of dermatological conditions) and assist with regulatory communication and compliance in a fast-paced environment. This includes study implementation, preparation for and assistance with clinical visits, data collection and submission in a timely and accurate manner and adhering to a quality assurance program that keeps the department's research efforts in excellent standing with local and national monitoring groups. These responsibilities require the ability to think creatively, work independently, communicate clearly, and interact professionally within the various university systems and with external sponsors. The Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado is an internationally renowned program that provides comprehensive resources for the diagnosis and therapy of diseases and conditions of the skin. The Department has a comprehensive clinical program with services at Anschutz, Children's Hospital, the VA, and community practice sites. The research activities include molecular biology and immunology of the skin, epidemiology, genetic determinants of skin diseases including melanoma and other skin cancers, and development of approaches to gene therapy in the skin. The Dermatopathology unit provides pathology services to the community with board-certified dermatopathologists who offer specific expertise in pediatric dermatopathology, evaluation of melanocytic lesions, alopecia, cutaneous lymphoma, and analysis of foreign material in the skin. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $56,169 - $71,477. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
