Nature of Work:
Recruiting a scientist or physician-scientist as the Assistant or early Associate Professor level with a promising laboratory-based research program focused on an emerging virus or viruses. There is a start-up package with protected time, laboratory space and funding. Valued: scientific accomplishment, drive, a record of primary basci sience research publications, collaborative and interpersonal skills, extramural funding consistent with stage, willingness to contribute to or interact with our clinical mission. The Anschutz Medical Campus provides state of the art facilities including well-equipped Biosafety level 3 space. Denver and the amazing natural beauty of Colorado offer exceptional quality of life.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position has been established at $100,000 to $200,000.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range statement is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act of 2020 and represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
