We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to lead our Software Development Services team in the conception, specification, design, programming, documentation, testing, and bug fixing of applications, frameworks, and software components. Lead the conception, specification, design, and development of complex software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and architect solutions that meet business objectives.
• Utilize code repositories to manage changes to application source code, ensuring version control and collaboration among team members.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and expertise to support their professional growth and development.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption to enhance our software development practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and technical recommendations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on conceiving, specifying, designing, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing.
• Extensive experience with code repositories (e.g., Git, SVN) and version control systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable.

Target salary range: $123,000 - $219,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
