As a Senior Manager of Performance Marketing and Web Analytics, you will partner with our performance marketing and website optimization teams to deliver actionable insights. Your goal will be to maximize the return on our performance marketing investments across all media channels (Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, Display, Direct Mail etc.) and optimizing the website content and conversion. You'll support the Empower Personal Wealth marketing function, specifically performance marketing and website optimization, and partner closely with peers in the product, sales analytics, data architecture, and engineering teams.

What you will do:

  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, primarily focused on digital media investments
  • Partner with the EPW Performance Marketing team to develop testing plan to measure the incremental impact of paid media strategies
  • Leverage expertise in analytical techniques to develop a deep understanding of customer behavior
  • Set up experiments, establish control groups, and devise A/B tests to be able to measure and understand the effectiveness of marketing
  • Design A/B tests of the web and applications to optimize customer flows & key KPIs
  • Manage marketing technology portfolio, including evaluation and recommendation of investments in new technologies
  • Develop standardized dashboards and ad hoc reports to inform business decisions, with an emphasis on automation and scalability
  • Analyze pools of data to discover trends, patterns, or correlations that can drive optimized business decisions
  • Effectively estimate impact of new campaigns/tactics to develop quantitative prioritization
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering and outside vendors to integrate data from new and innovative marketing technologies and tools
  • Work with business partners to transform customer understanding into measurable business results
  • Partner with Data Engineering to optimize data tracking/quality and drive data warehouse improvements
  • Serve in SME role for team members, providing training and coaching to develop the team

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, or related technical discipline (Master's degree preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in media campaign analytics and working with media agencies
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing A/B and multivariate results for campaign and website performance
  • 3+ years managing a team of analytics professionals
  • Must have experience in marketing analytics (knowledge of online and offline marketing channels, terminology, and marketing platforms)
  • Experience working with marketing agencies (PR, SEM, SEO, Direct mail, TV, etc.)
  • Proven track record of identifying, optimizing, and driving change at various stages of the customer journey
  • Experience developing and maintaining reports in Tableau or other data visualization tools

What will set you apart:

  • Experience with tracking and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Amplitude, Optimizely, and Tableau strongly preferred
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills with a working knowledge of R, Python, or other scripting language preferred
  • Clear and effective communication at various levels of the organization is essential
  • Effective communication skills to present information to technical and non-technical audience
  • Self-starter able to adapt to changing conditions/requirements & work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Experience supporting key management decisions with clear and concise data analysis and storytelling
  • Knowledge of and curiosity to stay current on industry analytical trends

Base Salary Range

$109,600.00 - $158,950.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
