Our financial services client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java/Node) to join their team.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $70.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer (Java/Node):
- Assist in coordinating multiple development work streams through integration
- Ensure architecture is scalable, resilient, extensible, and aligned to strategic vision
- Develop with the latest technologies and frameworks
- Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and non-production environment
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 7 years of hands-on software/cloud development and engineering experience
- At least 3 years of proven experience working in complex architectural designs and technology initiatives
- At least 2 years of experience working in agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban)
- At least 2 years of experience in Test Driven Development
- Experience with application development on Public Cloud
- Experience with REST API development using NodeJS, JAVA
- Experience with Event Driven application design and development using Kafka
- Experience with Database development using PL/SQL for Oracle
- Experience with API Gateway publishing with APIGEE/Stratum
- Experience with Production Support Operations Tools like Splunk/Datadog/Kibana
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools like TerraForm, Jenkins/ Jenkins Core, uDeploy, Concourse
