Accounts Receivable Specialist


Summary of Responsibilities:

Work with the POL to manage the accounts receivable (AR) (amounts billed to customers but not yet paid). Report on AR on a regular cadence. Work on collections to ensure proper cash flow based on the needs of the company

Job Description:

An Accounts Receivable Specialist will be a key role within the accounting team. This position will be a role that will focus on accounts receivable review, collections and reporting and extend into account reconciliations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Work with the Line of Business (LOB) leaders to ensure collection within contract parameters
    • Work with accounting leads and LOB leaders on collection updates and issues
    • Prepare monthly analysis on collectability
    • Maintain proper customer data within SalesForce as needed
    • Reconcile/Audit customer statements/accounts
    • Other Accounts Receivable duties, as needed
  • General Accounting
    • Prepare monthly account reconciliations, as needed
    • Assist with Annual Audit schedules
    • Assist with general accounting projects and analysis as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • General understanding of accounts receivable processing
  • Deadline driven with good time management skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years relative experience minimum
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $21.25 to $43.41 per hour.
